Checksum Pty Ltd was an ERP software implementation consultancy that is now in retirement.
Checksum Pty Ltd was a small Australian consulting Company that has been performing implementations of ERP systems such as Oracles JDEdwards OneWorld/Enterprise One, primarily in logistics and manufacturing industries, since 1997.
Checksum Pty Ltd has also developed software to faciltate the documentation of JDEdwards Oneworld ERP systems during the implementation phase.
The principal consultant, Mark Fenton, has extensive experience in logistics (inventory, sales, purchasing and transportation), and manufacturing operations, but now enjoys retirement in the garage and with the grandchildren.

After a lifetime enjoyed doing ERP software implementations, and software development of 2 products called OW Documenter and OW Compare (both no longer relevant in a changing world), it is time to start putting back into the things in life that have kept me going, in the hope that they keep going too.
Checksum Pty Ltd is pleased to be able to host this community service

OW Compare was used to compare spreadsheets generated by OW Documenter, or CSV files generated by the JDE UBE R01RS005, reporting on processing option and data selection differences between the JDE impementation dates or environments. It was a VB6 based product

One of my passions has been cars, and this has lead me to get involved in motoring clubs, where I could not help but see a need I could help fufill. All clubs need to track membership details, and car clubs also need to track details of their vehicles, but manual lists, and spreadsheets just dont cut it. With my many years of expertise in developing MS Access databases with easy to use front ends, and reports and extracts to complete the solution, it was not a stretch to envisage a solution that would be of benefit to car clubs.
In particular, in my home state of Victoria, Australia, the introduction of a Club Permit Scheme (CPS), allowing older cars to enjoy discounted "registration" for limited use on the road, placed extra demands on Clubs to track these permits, and required recipients to be financial members at all times.
The Car Club Register was born out of this need, beginning in 2006 as a solution for the
Chrysler Restorers Club of Australia (Victoria)
. In 2013 it was redeveloped as a database that could be easily configured for use by other car clubs, and was made generally available, FREE OF CHARGE, to all other car clubs via the
Association of Motoring Clubs (AOMC)
. I am proud to continue to update and support the availability of this database for other motoring clubs as they see fit.
The Car Club Register is an MS Access database designed with small and large car clubs in mind, and is offered FREE OF CHARGE to the car club movement. Although it has been designed with features specifically needed to manage the Victorian Club Permit Scheme (CPS) it can also be used effectively by other clubs in other states or countries, to record members and their cars, and to manage their renewals process.
